If you’re hoping to enjoy Netflix in HD or HDR on your phone, you might be interested to learn that Netflix has recently certified a bunch of new devices which means that these devices will support HD and HDR10 Netflix playback. These include brands from the likes of Huawei, LG, and Sony, just to name a few.

For devices that will support HDR10, these devices include the recent Huawei Mate 20, the LG Q9 One, and the LG X5. For devices that support HD, this includes the Mate 20, LG Q9 One, and the LG X5 as well, but also in addition to the Sony Xperia XZ3 with SOV39, SO-01L, and 801SO variants. Netflix also notes that devices running on the HiSilicon Kirin 710 and the 980 will also be supported.

Note that the actual list of devices that can support Netflix in HD and HDR10 is pretty long, so these are just newer devices that have recently been certified.
