For the longest time ever, Samsung has relied on the Galaxy branding for its smartphones and tablets, but could the company be planning on making a change? According to a recent trademark filing, it seems that Samsung could be considering launching a new naming scheme for their smartphones.

The company has filed trademarks for three different names: the Rize10, Rize20, and the Rize30. These trademarks are for smartphones, that much we know, but what smartphones they are for is anyone’s guess. Now we know that within the Galaxy lineup there are different models, like the S-series, A-series, J-series, and the Note series, just to name a few.

However given that the Rize branding has numbers in them, we’re not sure if a Galaxy Rize10 rolls off the tongue as nicely as just Rize10. We know that come 2019 we can expect to see the Galaxy S10, but whether or not the phone might be rebranded to celebrate the tenth version of the phone is unclear.

Then there is also the foldable smartphone by Samsung, although last we heard the Galaxy Fold was a possible name for it. In any case we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more information regarding these phones, if and when they do launch.
