The iMac’s sleek design is beautiful to look at, but in terms of functionality, the USB ports behind the computer does make it a tad hard to reach, especially if you plan on connecting and disconnecting peripherals often. However the good news is that Satechi might have the solution for you.

The company has recently taken the wraps off a new iMac stand that will add a bunch of extra ports that you can access directly from the front. These ports include a USB-C port, USB-A ports, a micro/SD card reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack that should make connecting a pair of headphones to it much easier.

In addition it will also elevate the iMac to make it more comfortable for viewing, just in case the current height of your table isn’t tall enough. Unfortunately the USB hub does not come cheap at $90 but if you think that there’s value in it, head on over to Amazon where you’ll be able to get your hands on it, although from what we can tell, it seems that it is running low on stock so you might want to hurry.

That being said, Satechi is not the first or only company to offer front-facing USB hubs for the iMac, so you can still do a bit of shopping around in case the $90 price tag is a bit too much for your liking.
