Apple’s iPhones aren’t exactly known for their particularly long battery lives. In fact, for the most part, smartphones in this day and age still don’t last as long as many of us would like, which is why powerbanks are still a pretty popular accessory. However, if you don’t fancy powerbanks and want a more elegant solution, Mophie might have something for you.

The company had previously unveiled it Mophie Juice Pack Access for the iPhone, and now the battery case is available for purchase. This is a battery case designed for Apple’s 2018 iPhones and while this isn’t new for Mophie, what makes it special is that it relies on wireless charging to charge up the iPhone.

This means that this charging case will actually free up the Lightning port on your phone, meaning that you will be able to use it with other accessories or plug in a Lightning compatible set of headphones. There is also a built-in USB-C port that will recharge the case when the battery has been depleted.

The iPhone XS and XR versions of the Juice Pack Access will feature a 2,000mAh battery, while the iPhone XS Max model will be packing a slightly larger 2,200mAh battery. They will all also be priced the same at $100. Apple had previously launched their own series of battery cases but in case they’re a bit too expensive or ugly for your liking, Mophie’s cases could be worth checking out.
