Spotify only really provides two subscription plans for people willing to pay for its Premium service. There’s the single subscription for one person and the family plan for multiple and both of them are billed monthly. The company added more granular plans when it launched the service in India recently and is now offering another subscription plan in select markets. The Spotify Duo plan is better suited to couples who would both like access to the Premium service.

Spotify Duo is tailored for two users and is priced at the midpoint between the single and the family tiers. It’s obviously cheaper if both people subscribe to Spotify individually. It also offers savings for those who are paying for a family account even though there are only two people using it.

Spotify is currently offering the Duo plan in Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Ireland, and Poland. Prices in each country vary but they’re in the range of €12 in the EU markets. The company hasn’t said when this new tier will be offered in additional markets, particularly markets like the United States.

Those who subscribe to the tiers will also get a new feature called Duo Mix. It’s a playlist that’s populated based on the listening habits of both users.
