While it might be a while before we see The Elder Scrolls VI, back in 2018 Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls: Blades, a game based on the franchise that would be playable on mobile. The game was initially pegged for a release in 2018, but was later delayed to 2019. No reasons were given but presumably more work needed to be done on the game.

That being said for those who are looking forward to getting their hands on the game, you’ll be pleased to learn that there are still plans to host a closed beta and also allow early access for some gamers. No word on when the closed beta will be launched, but according to the official FAQ page, the game’s early access is still pegged for the spring of 2019.

Early access will be available to both iOS and Android players and unlike the closed beta, there will not be any NDA which means that gamers are free to share screenshots and talk about the game. Bethesda also claims that both the closed beta and early access will feature the full game, so it’s not as if it will be a hobbled version just for testing purposes. Gamers who are interested in taking part in the early access can still sign up for it via the game’s website.
