Do you think you have what it takes to create the “perfect” stage for a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fight? If you do, then you might be interested to learn that in a recent Nintendo Switch commercial for the game, it was spotted in the background a “Stage Builder” mode. The mode has yet to be officially announced, but it seems like an upcoming feature.

Version 3.0 of the update is expected to be out this coming spring and there is a chance that the new mode could be part of it. The Stage Builder mode for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate shouldn’t really come as a surprise. The mode has been featured in previous Super Smash Bros. titles in the past, so for it to come to Ultimate actually makes a lot of sense.

The upcoming update could also be a pretty big one because according to reports, Persona 5’s Joker character is also expected to be introduced to the game soon, and with the version 3.0 update coming in the spring, there is a good chance that Joker could also be part of the update along with the Stage Builder mode.

Some gamers have expressed their disappointment with the Stage Builder in Super Smash Bros. 4, so hopefully Nintendo would have learnt from their mistakes with the previous release and give gamers something better.
