Verizon is in the process of launching its mobile 5G network. The carrier has now confirmed 20 additional markets where it says the 5G network will go live before the end of this year. It had previously announced that 5G would be deployed in select areas of over 30 cities across the country in 2019. Its 5G Home broadband internet service will be offered in some of these markets as well.

Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dallas, Des Moines, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Little Rock, Memphis, Phoenix, Providence, San Diego, Salt Lake City and Washington DC will be among the cities that get Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband service this year.

The carrier also confirmed that customers can now place their pre-orders for the Galaxy S10 5G on Verizon. It will exclusively be offering this device in the United States for a limited time. The handset will be available for pre-roder in Crown Silver and Majestic Black colors with the latter being exclusive to Verizon.

Customers will have to pay $53.16 per month for 24 months on Verizon’s installment plan for the 256GB Galaxy S10 5G while the 512GB variant will cost them $58.33 per month for 24 months. Customers will have to wait for a bit fore the handset arrives, though. Verizon has confirmed that the Galaxy S10 5G will be available for purchase from its retail stores on May 16th.
