LG’s new gaming displays will certainly appeal to serious gamers. The two monitors are what it claims to be the world’s first IPS monitors that have a one-millisecond response time. These monitors have been launched as part of LG’s UltraGear brand and they will be available in 38 and 27 inch sizes. Both feature 144Hz refresh rate, high screen resolutions, and a virtually borderless design.

The larger curved model has a resolution of 3840 x 1600 with 450 nits brightness. The smaller 27 inch monitor has a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution with 350 nits brightness. Both have the one-millisecond response time and up to 175Hz refresh rate for the larger model.

They also have support for NVIDIA’s G-SYNC Technology. The 38 inch model also supports VESA DisplayHDR 400 while both promise smooth motion without tearing or stuttering with gamer-specific settings like Black Stabilizer, Dynamic Action Sync, and Crosshair.

LG says that its new UltraGear monitors will be available for purchase starting next month. Pre-orders for the 27 inch model will commence in the United States on July 1st. The entire package will surely enable gamers to enjoy a very immersive gaming experience. They will obviously have to pay for this privilege. The company has not yet confirmed the pricing information for both monitors but it can reasonably be expected that they won’t exactly be cheap.
