Microsoft recently confirmed that it’s going to extend the Xbox Game Pass service to the PC. The service was first launched for the Xbox console and it allows subscribers to access a library of more than 100 games as long as they keep paying for it. Ahead of its E3 2019 press event later today, Microsoft has now revealed the Xbox Game Pass for PC price.

According to the company’s own website, Xbox Game Pass for PC is going to cost $4.99 per month. Microsoft may launch a beta for the service later today which will include at least ten games. Some of the titles that are mentioned in the list include Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Gears 5.

During the beta launch, Microsoft may only charge $1 per month for the service until it’s ready to be rolled out to all gamers. It will work in a fashion that’s not unlike how it does on the console. With Xbox Game Pass for PC, subscribers on Windows 10 PCs will be able to download games from the library and play them online and offline. Microsoft has already promised that the library will include over 100 games from more than 75 developers.

Microsoft will no doubt have much more to say about the service during its E3 2019 press conference later today.
