Leaked renders of this year’s iPhones have been making their rounds, but now thanks to a new photo shared on Slashleaks, it seems that the alleged logic board of the iPhone 11 has found its way online. If you can’t really tell what you’re looking at, not to worry because we get it, but it seems that if you were to compare it against previous iPhone logic boards, then you might notice a difference.

For starters, it seems that Apple could be ditching the L-shaped logic board design that they were using for its iPhones in the past few years. Instead, the company appears to be shifting back towards a more rectangular design. It also appears to be rather narrow in width which suggests that it could be sitting underneath the rumored triple camera module, while leaving room for what some claim to be a larger battery.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had previous claimed that this year’s iPhones could offer up as much as 20% more battery life than 2018’s iPhones, so the extra space for a larger battery seems to make sense. Other than that, it’s hard to tell what other changes the company could be making to the iPhone 11.

It is still largely expected that the 2019 iPhones will be offered in two different flagship models with OLED screens, while it is also expected that there will be a follow-up to the iPhone XR that will continue to use LCD.
