The Nintendo Switch, for some reason, has managed to attract many popular indie games to its platform. If you’re a fan of indie games, then there is a good chance that you might have heard of the game “Ori and the Blind Forest”, a game which was originally released back in 2015 where it was released on the Xbox One and Windows.

However, the good news is that it looks like the game will no longer be exclusive to Microsoft’s platform, because it has been confirmed that Ori and the Blind Forest will be launching on the Nintendo Switch next month, or to be more specific, it will be launching on the Switch on the 27th of September.

Dubbed the “Definitive Edition”, this will include the original game but it is based on the re-release in 2016 where gamers will be able to look forward to new areas, new difficulty modes, and new abilities, just to name a few. If you’ve always been eyeing the game, then next month is when you’ll be able to play it on the Switch.

There is currently a sequel to the game being developed called Ori and the Will of the Wisps. However, the sequel was only announced for the PC and Xbox One, but given that Ori and the Blind Forest is coming to the Switch, perhaps the sequel could eventually launch on the Switch as well.
