Among other things in CES 2020, a robot cat ‘BellaBot’ was recently unveiled.

Not just limited to a cat robot but a couple of robots were unveiled at CES, Las Vegas. BellaBot seems to stand out from the rest because it seems to be a robot cat with a personality.

The cat robot is built by a Chinese firm PuduTech. The primary task of the robot is to serve the customers at a restaurant.

But, that’s not it. While it serves a customer, the robot cat can display cat-face animations on its screen.

In addition to the animation, it also mews when it arrives at your table to serve. Interestingly, you can also interact with the robot cat.

It will initially react with pleasure mentioning “The owner’s hand is so warm”. But, if you continue interacting with the robot for longer, it would change its expression to an angry cat face.

Basically, it reminds you to not interrupt the robot for while it is working. It is being primarily targeted for Chinese restaurants – however, anyone who is looking to automate things for their restaurant should be able to use it.

Surprisingly, the older model of the cat robot is being used by almost 2000 restaurants in China. So, with the robot tech improving, the demand for it should see a significant increase as well.
