These days browsers pretty much all come with tabs. Depending on the type of user you are, you might be the type that has many tabs open at once. This can be rather confusing if you’re trying to sort between the tabs, but if you’re an Opera user, then you might want to check out the latest update to the browser.

In the latest update to the browser, Opera has announced that they are introducing a new way for users to better manage their tabs in the form of workspaces. What this means is that if you have a set of tabs that you use for work and a set of tabs used for school or a set of tabs used for entertainment purposes, then you can manage them by grouping them together.

According to Opera, “Workspaces is a new tool which lets you organize your tabs according to the different life contexts you use them for. Right now, you can add up to 5 workspaces, name them, and designate their icons. This allows you to keep tabs for work, free-time activity or any other projects in separate tab groups, called workspaces.”

In addition to helping users group their tabs, the update will also highlight duplicate tabs. This is useful because having more tabs open means consuming more computer resources, so if you don’t have a particularly powerful machine, then this is where this feature can come in handy. The latest version of Opera should already be live, so head on over to its website for the download.
