JBL is no stranger when it comes to portable Bluetooth speakers, with the JBL Go series being one of the company’s smallest and most affordable models. If you are looking for a simple and straight to the point Bluetooth speaker, then you might be pleased to learn that JBL has unveiled the latest model in the lineup, the JBL Go 3.

However, as you can see from the photo, JBL has given the Go 3 a bit of an upgrade in terms of design. Previous models of the Go series were basically tiny boxes, but with the Go 3, JBL has rounded off the edges a bit more and have even tossed in a clip. This means that it’ll be easier for you to hook the Go 3 onto your belt or onto a bag, a feature that the company borrowed from its JBL Clip series.

According to JBL, in addition to the new design, the Go 3 will also feature an IP67 rating that will make it water and dust resistant. It also boasts a 5 hour battery life, and will also support Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity that should also help with range and energy efficiency. It uses a USB-C connection for charging, which is a nice touch given how USB-C is slowly becoming the new standard.

It will come in a variety of colors which include Black, Blue, Blue & Pink, Red, Squad, Pink, Green and White. It is priced at $39.95 and will be available for purchase this October.
