On the 22nd of October, Huawei will be taking the wraps off their next-gen flagship smartphone, the Huawei Mate 40 series. As this is a flagship phone, we expect that it will come with a bunch of high-end features, and sure enough it looks like it will if the recently-leaked specs are to be believed.

According to a post on Twitter by @RODENT950, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro is expected to be a beast. The phone will be packing a massive 6.76-inch 2772×1344 display and under the hood, the handset is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 9000 chipset that will be accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Huawei is also expected to adopt a new camera module on the back featuring a circular design, where it will house a bunch of sensors that include a 50MP main shooter, a 20MP ultrawide camera, an 8MP with 3x optical zoom, an 8MP with 10x optical zoom, and a ToF sensor. There are also reportedly other sensors like a temperature measuring sensor, a color temperature sensor, and a single LED flash.
