Apple’s iPhones are expensive which is why many take extra care of them by buying protective cases. Another reason for that is because when it comes to repairing the iPhone 12, it will not come cheap and will actually end up costing you more than if you were to repair an iPhone 11.

This is according to Apple’s repair costs in which the company has posted on their website that replacing the iPhone 12’s screen will cost you a whopping $279 for both the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. This is $80 more expensive than that of the iPhone 11, presumably due to the use of the new Ceramic Shield glass that Apple and Corning developed for the iPhone 12.

As far as “other” damages are concerned, this will be priced at $449 for the iPhone 12, and $549 for the iPhone 12 Pro, making it $50 more expensive than the previous models. Note that this is only for the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro. There is no word on how much the iPhone 12 mini or iPhone 12 Pro Max will cost in terms of repair as they haven’t been released yet.

However, if we had to venture a guess, there is a chance that repairing the iPhone 12 mini could actually be slightly cheaper, while repairing the iPhone 12 Pro Max with its massive 6.7-inch display could end up costing you a small fortune, so you should probably look to invest in a good screen protector and case if you’d rather not pay these repair fees.
