If you’re looking for a new Android smartphone, you’re probably spoilt for choice, but in case you wanted to look at some newer alternatives, you might want to take a look at the OnePlus 8T. This is the company’s second flagship smartphone of 2020 and comes with several improvements over its predecessor.

For starters, and probably the most obvious, would be the inclusion of a 120Hz display, an upgrade over the OnePlus 8’s 90Hz display. Then there is also the introduction of the 65W Warp Charge which will make charging the phone even faster. According to OnePlus, they claim that the Warp Charge will now juice up the phone’s 4,500mAh battery in just 39 minutes.

As for the hardware, the OnePlus 8T will use the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset with 5G support, so you can expect the same level of performance. The phone will also feature a new quad-camera setup that consists of a 48MP main shooter, a 16MP ultrawide camera, and macro and monochrome cameras to round things out.

In terms of pricing, the OnePlus 8T will be priced starting at $749 for the US market which comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There is a lower-end 8GB RAM and 128GB model, but there was no mention of that for the US market.
