Three Unreleased Macs Spotted In macOS 11.0.1 Beta

Apple did confirm earlier this year that they will be launching their first Apple Silicon based Mac computers by the end of 2020. The company did not state when, but the rumors have suggested that an event will most likely be held mid-November, although at this point in time not much is known about which computers will be getting the Apple Silicon treatment.

That being said, it seems that Apple could announce at least three new Mac computers. This is according to a tweet by HackerTech on Twitter where he discovered that there are references to three 2020 Mac computers inside the macOS 11.0.1 beta that was recently seeded to developers.

While the files do not explicitly mention which Mac computers they are, it has been suggested that at least one is in reference to the 16-inch MacBook Pro, the other to the 13-inch MacBook Air, and the other one could reference either the iMac or the 13-inch MacBook Pro. Apple has not refreshed its MacBook Pros this year so it is possible that they could be part of the announcement.

Oddly enough, there is no mention of the 12-inch MacBook which many have speculated could be revived with the Apple Silicon chipset. That being said, it is possible that some of these computers could still use Intel chipsets, although the timing given the rumors are interesting.
