While the original Mass Effect trilogy is probably one of the most beloved space RPGs out there, its successor kind of fell flat on its face. Many players felt that it simply did not live up to the original series, which is kind of a bummer as it does leave a stain on an otherwise “perfect” franchise.However, the good news is that the series has a second chance to try and redeem themselves. In a surprise announcement from BioWare, the company has revealed that they are working on a new Mass Effect game, but stopped short of mentioning when exactly it would be released or what we might be able to expect from it.
According to the post on BioWare’s website, “Meanwhile here at BioWare, a veteran team has been hard at work envisioning the next chapter of the Mass Effect universe. We are in early stages on the project and can’t say any more just yet, but we’re looking forward to sharing our vision for where we’ll be going next.”
In any case, it sounds like we might have to wait a while before we see anything related to the game, so check back with us later for more updates.
