The problem with power banks and battery cases is that it’s not quite convenient to use as it either requires you to bring an extra cable or you need to encase your phone in a thick and bulky case. However, if you do need the extra juice while you’re on the go, then you might be interested in what could possibly be the world’s first third-party MagSafe battery pack for the iPhone.

For those unfamiliar, alongside the iPhone 12, Apple re-introduced the MagSafe branding where it relies on magnets to provide wireless charging. The use of magnets means that it holds on more securely than regular wireless charging, but it is also easy to remove and users won’t have to fiddle with cables.

This battery pack is sold by a company called Charge Fast that according to the company, offers 15W of wireless charging, or 20W if you’re willing to use a cable. To date, we haven’t really seen that many third-party MagSafe accessories for the iPhone, so this is actually rather refreshing to see.

We can’t speak to whether or not it delivers as promised, but if you’re interested, you can head on over to Charge Fast’s website where right now it is on sale for $45 instead of its usual asking price of $90.
