OnePlus has been steadily teasing their upcoming OnePlus 9 series of smartphones, but the question is when will they launch? According to a tweet by the company’s official account, it seems that the OnePlus 9 series will be officially making their debut on the 23rd of March, which is in the next couple of weeks.

One of the highlights of the upcoming phones is the partnership that OnePlus has formed with Hasselblad, a company known for their high-end camera equipment. According to OnePlus CEO Pete Lau, this partnership will last for three years and will see Hasselblad co-develop the imaging system for the upcoming lineup as well as future handsets.

It is unclear exactly how involved Hasselblad is, and whether or not we’ll be seeing actual Hasselblad technology being used in the phone, or if the company is simply providing consultation. Such a collaboration isn’t new because in the past, we have seen other companies such as Huawei and Leica work together on smartphone camera technology as well.

Also, the 23rd of March date is rather interesting because a recent rumor had suggested that Apple could be planning an event on that date as well. In any case, mark the date down on your calendar and remember to check back with us then for more updates.
