If there is a trend we’re seeing with Apple products, is that for its more entry-level devices, Apple is trying to make them more unique by offering them in bright colors. This is versus its more “professional” lineup where Apple offers more subdued and “serious” colors. So much so that artist Ian Zelbo has put together some renders of the MacBook Air with a colorful finish.

According to Zelbo, “MacBook Air 2021 – White borders that are narrower, 4 stunning colors, MagSafe, and 25% thinner by flattening top and bottom. Concept based on leaks and the design of the 24’’ iMac.” For those unfamiliar, Apple launched their brand new 24-inch iMac not too long ago.

The new iMac features a brand new design, something that users have been clamoring for since the last design, which was years ago. The new design features a flatter body, a new white bezel, and a bunch of colorful finishes. This MacBook Air render pretty much draws from that design, and we have to say that it doesn’t look too bad.

The MacBook Air is the entry-level computer in Apple’s MacBook series. It has kept its design the same ever since it was first introduced so it could definitely stand a refresh, although when exactly that will happen is unclear.
