When it comes to choosing a speaker, obviously sound quality is the most important. However, some companies have designed their speakers to make them more appealing beyond their sound quality, like Sony, who have recently debuted their LSPX-S3 speaker which has been designed to look like a candle lamp.

It should be noted that this is actually not Sony’s first attempt at creating such a speaker. The company actually made a speaker like this back in 2019 and now it looks like we have a follow up that is cheaper and comes with a few changes from its predecessor.

According to Sony, the speaker will feature organic glass tweeters with three actuators that helps the speaker emit sound in all directions. It also features a 46mm speaker unit and there is also support for LDAC, in case you want to be able to playback higher-resolution audio. The speaker has a built-in light that won’t illuminate an entire room, but will flicker like a candle.

It can even pulse in sync with music and there are different lighting modes and brightness levels to choose from. It is a Bluetooth speaker and is powered by a battery so you can take it with you on the go. That being said, the LSPX-S3 won’t come cheap at $350, but if you’re after something a bit more unique, then this could be it.
