Just like many other companies, Microsoft has adopted a subscription system for its Office suite of software and its other services. This is bundled into a Microsoft 365 subscription system which is available for both regular users and commercial users. If you are a commercial user, then you might want to take note of a price hike that will be coming into effect next year.

Starting on the 1st of March, 2022, Microsoft has announced that Microsoft 365 Business Basic will now be priced from $5 to $6 per user, Business Premium from $20 to $22, Office 365 E1 from $8 to $10, Office 365 E3 from $20 to $23, Office 365 E5 from $35 to $38, and MIcrosoft 365 E3 from $32 to $36.

The price increases aren’t that much, although we guess it will depend on how many users are part of the plan, but it is something that businesses and enterprise users might want to take note off, especially if they have many users who are linked up to it.

Microsoft notes, “As leaders around the world look to empower their people for a more flexible, hybrid world of work, it’s clear that every organization will need a new operating model across people, places, and processes. We’re committed to building on the value we’ve delivered over the past decade to continuously provide innovation that helps our customers succeed and thrive today and well into the future.”
