DJI has quite a number of drones under its belt where they cater to a variety of customers, whether it be budding hobbyists, enthusiasts, or professionals, DJI has drones to cover them all. The good news for those who aren’t necessarily professionals but might appreciate an upgrade anyway, then the DJI Mavic 3 could be a drone to keep an eye out for.

This is thanks to Jasper Ellens who shared alleged leaked specs of the upcoming drone, and it looks like if it’s accurate, it could pack quite a number of impressive hardware upgrades. This includes a new 4/3-inch camera sensor that will allow the drone to capture 5.2K video and 20MP stills.

This is quite a huge upgrade for aerial photographers who are hoping for better quality cameras to improve on their photos or videos. Prior to this, drone pilots hoping for a 4/3 sensor would have to buy a separate camera like the DJI Zenmuse or use Panasonic’s BGH1.

Other features include direct USB-C charging which means that you won’t have to remove the battery, and speaking of battery, the flight time of the Mavic 3 has been listed as 46 minutes, slightly longer than the 31 minutes on the Mavic 2. The Mavic 3 is also said to be priced starting $1,600 and will most likely be announced on the 15th of November.
