Squid Game was probably one of 2021’s most-watched and most-talked about TV series from Netflix. The series is said to have helped Netflix earn $900 million in subscriptions. It has also managed to dominate Halloween where we’ve seen a ton of people dressing up as characters from the show.

So much so that it doesn’t really come as a surprise that some people have decided to try and recreate the game in real-life. One of those people is popular YouTuber MrBeast who managed to recreate the entire Squid Game set, gathered several hundred people to play the game, and also offered a $456,000 cash prize to the final winner.

Obviously this is a more “tame” version of the series where no one was killed, but it was still pretty intense. The games they played were pretty much identical to that in the series, including the glass bridge walk, red light green light, and the candy cutting game. The only difference would be the final game where they swapped out the actual Squid Game for musical chairs, but otherwise it was still a pretty fun video to watch.

If you have about half an hour to spare, then do give this a watch, especially if you’re a fan of the show as this is admittedly one of the most faithful recreations we’ve seen to date, and not surprising given that it was reported to have cost $3.5 million to put together.
