1. Ensure a Stable Internet Connection

It is often easy to overlook the connection state of your Internet connection but it is an essential factor. You could be thinking about Disney Plus services are not working but you might be looking at an unstable or slow Internet connection.

So, you can try using SpeedTest or Fast web tool to gauge your Internet connection speed. If it is totally bad, that might be the problem.

Just to give you an idea, if you have a Wireless connection active, you may need to check the signal strength. In other words, if the streaming device is sufficiently close to your router to have a fast connection.

You can just restart the router or re-connect again to see if it fixes the issue. If your Internet speeds did not recover, get in touch with the customer support of your ISP (Internet Service Provider).

2. Update the App

No matter whether you are using it on your smartphone or the TV, not everyone applies the available updates quickly.

So, you need to check for app updates on both smartphone and TV (as applicable to you).

For instance, there was a known issue with Sony Bravia smart TVs (running on Android) where Disney+ app kept crashing. But, a simple app update fixed it.

3. Reboot the Streaming Device

If you have the latest app version along with a stable Internet connection, you may want to simply restart the device you are using it on.

Rebooting the streaming device should clear any temporary cache issue and you should be able to load up just fine the next time you launch Disney Plus.

4. Check for System Updates

It is also recommended having your system firmware up-to-date. No matter whether it is your TV or the smartphone, make sure that you have installed the latest available system update. Sometimes the root cause is a compatibility issue, which is often fixed by simply updating your system (if an update is available).

5. Clear App Cache & Relaunch

You just need to head to the Disney app info and clear the cache data.

It is worth noting that you can only do it on Android devices. Once done, re-launch to see if that fixed it.

6. Re-install the App

If nothing else works, you could just try uninstalling the app and re-installing it to fix any temporary issue. You will need to log in again, so make sure not to lose your login details before you uninstall the app.
