ArtygenSpace (CEO Young Sun Seo) announced its participation in ‘AWE USA 2025’, which will take place from June 10 to 12 in Long Beach, California, as part of the Seoul XR Pavilion.

Founded in 2020, ArtygenSpace is a startup specializing in augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. The company provides AR-AI integrated solutions across sectors such as education, commerce, marketing, and manufacturing. Its mission is to deliver innovative user experiences and develop solutions that contribute to everyday life and societal advancement.

All of ArtygenSpace’s products are built on its proprietary technology engine, ‘arti’—an AI-based AR engine that received the CES 2025 Innovation Award in the AI category. According to the company, arti “delivers intelligent AR content, recognizes user interaction in real time, and creates memorable brand experiences. It enables smart classrooms, intuitive manufacturing processes, and immersive user experiences. With wide applicability across education, industry, marketing, and commerce, arti adds intelligence to everyday AR.”

Among the various sectors ArtygenSpace serves, it considers edtech its strongest area. Its flagship products include the immersive AR reading and learning platforms ‘ARpedia’ and ‘bookar.’

‘bookar’ and ‘ARpedia’ are AR-based platforms for immersive and creative learning that can transform books into experiential content across various devices. In classrooms, they serve as immersive teaching tools, and at home, they offer engaging educational content for both children and parents. Children can interact with physical paper markers to engage more effectively with books and lessons.

The company has developed over 300 AR book titles to date, allowing it to quickly create AR book content based on its library of IP and know-how. Without needing to publish new books, AR content can be applied to existing titles, reducing costs and enabling reuse of unsold inventory.

ARpedia is distributed through its Korean partner Woongjin ThinkBig, while bookar is currently used in kindergartens across Korea. ARpedia has achieved cumulative sales of approximately 80 billion KRW and 6.5 million copies, with its Disney interactive book series selling out 360,000 first-edition copies in just three weeks. Though these results were primarily domestic, they demonstrate the platform’s commercial viability for global markets.

bookar is now used as an immersive educational tool in about 300 Korean kindergartens. The company is also collaborating with overseas publishers and educational institutions to develop edtech products based on global intellectual property.

ArtygenSpace’s AI-based reading platform, ‘booxtory,’ received the CES 2025 Best Innovation Award in the AI category and an award from the Ministry of Science and ICT at WIS 2025. booxtory is set to launch globally this year and offers context-aware, emotionally responsive reading experiences in multiple languages.

In addition to its education products, ArtygenSpace also offers the AR commerce platform ‘wyft’ for gifting, marketing, and events, and the smart manufacturing solution ‘A-MAN,’ which combines AI inspection and AR guidance. A-MAN provides intuitive manuals with 3D animation, automates quality inspection, reduces errors, and cuts training time and labor costs for new workers. It also enables real-time monitoring for transparent, data-driven decision-making.

Through its partnership with Woongjin ThinkBig, ArtygenSpace has already secured sales channels and market insights for its edtech products. The company plans to export its AR education solution to Taiwan this year and is finalizing an MOU and proof-of-concept with an educational institution in Saudi Arabia.

A company representative said, “We aim to lead new industries by combining AR with AI technology. With our CES Best Innovation Award in the education sector as proof, we plan to increase our market share in global education while expanding into smart manufacturing and AR commerce.”

They added, “We are actively promoting our brand and connecting with buyers by participating in over 30 domestic and international exhibitions. Our appearance at AWE USA 2025, centered on the bookar platform, will mark our push into the U.S. education market. With at least two direct export deals expected this year, we are focused on building a strong export pipeline starting in 2025. We will showcase ArtygenSpace’s technology and excellence to visitors at AWE USA.”

AWE (Augmented World Expo) USA 2025 is North America’s largest exhibition dedicated to the XR industry. The Seoul Pavilion at this year’s event includes not only exhibition booths but also IR pitching, local meetups, and post-show consulting as part of a multidimensional global expansion program.
