SM (CEO Kyunghee Yoon), a South Korean beauty-tech manufacturer specializing in professional salon equipment, has announced its participation in IFA 2026, Europe’s largest consumer electronics and home appliances trade show, held in Berlin this September. Exhibiting at the Korea Design Pavilion by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP), the company will showcase its flagship brand, “Zephyros,” which presents high-performance professional nail dust collectors to accelerate expansion in the European beauty appliance market.

SM is dedicated to enhancing the working environments and respiratory health of nail artists worldwide through uncompromising engineering and advanced filtration systems. From 2018 to 2025, SM achieved over $1.67 million in cumulative export volume, as measured by the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) standards, establishing solid global commercial validation. The company’s primary export milestones include generating over $670,000 in shipments to the United Kingdom through its core partner, TAFS PRODUCTS LTD, and over $367,000 in shipments to North America through major distributors like The Nail HUB. In Europe, SM has distributed over $200,000 worth of equipment across Belgium, Germany, Italy, and Spain via partners such as ASAP NAILS & BEAUTY BVBA, while steadily supplying the Japanese market through ZEPHYROS JAPAN, the Japan Nail Association (JNA), and Nail Labo. SM has also secured registered trademarks across South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, China, and the European Union.

The Zephyros lineup featured at IFA 2026 is engineered to capture harmful airborne dust, filing debris, and chemical micro-particles generated during nail treatments.

The equipment features a standardized 60W power output across all models, delivering optimized RPM and suction speeds to ensure stable, powerful dust collection during continuous salon operation. Rather than using low-cost alternatives, SM incorporates South Korean-manufactured medical-grade materials across a dual-filter architecture—combining a HEPA filter with disposable filters—to eliminate fine hazardous particles. The flagship SM2508-PM model is designed with anti-corrosion materials and a wide stainless-steel grill to withstand harsh salon chemicals such as acetone while delivering a sleek, modern aesthetic. Furthermore, SM offers a diversified salon portfolio tailored to various workstation setups, including the desktop SM1811-M, the cordless SM1811-MW, powered by genuine Samsung SDI batteries, the built-in table flush-mount SM1811-T, and the entry-level SM2311.

At IFA 2026, SM aims to expand its global distribution footprint by establishing partnerships with major European home appliance distributors and professional beauty-tech networks. The company is actively pursuing business meetings with European wellness and healthcare appliance leaders, including Germany’s Beurer, as well as buyers in Poland. Leveraging support infrastructure from the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), SM is directly connecting with regional wholesalers in the nail industry to build a dense distribution network across Europe. Amid global market challenges posed by uncertified, low-cost alternatives, SM emphasizes its fully certified, high-grade Korean manufacturing standards to earn buyer trust.

“Zephyros is an essential professional healthcare appliance designed to protect the long-term respiratory health of nail technicians exposed to fine dust,” said Kyunghee Yoon, CEO of SM. “IFA 2026 serves as our strategic gateway to expand distribution channels across Germany, Poland, and the broader European continent, solidifying Zephyros as a leading global brand in the high-end beauty equipment sector.”
