Verizon is now offering a new device for its customers that’s going to be a good option for those who require a mobile phone but have no use for a smartphone phone. It’s called the LG Exalt LTE and it’s an LTE-only flip phone. That’s right, the handset only connects to Verizon’s 4G LTE network which means that there’s no 3G network option for phone calls.
Big Red may boast about having the biggest LTE network in the country but its voice calls are still routed through the old 3G network. As the carrier works on expanding voice over LTE its ultimate goal is to have LTE-only calling phones on the network.
