The Mac Mini is probably one of the overlooked computers offered by Apple, probably because in terms of looks and features, there’s really nothing to shout about. However it is compact which means that it’s great to bring around with you, or move from room to room, or if you just want a computer in the living room.
ZTE has just released another Axon phone to extend the coverage of its lineup. The ZTE Axon 7 mini is a 5.2-inch screen Android phone that will complement the Axon 7 that was released earlier this year. The idea behind the Axon line is to offer “flagship-level specs and experience” at an affordable price. This is a segment of the market where several Chinese brands have been successful, thus, attracting […]
During its media event at IFA in Berlin/Germany, Qualcomm has unveiled a new reference hardware for Virtual Reality (VR) developers called Snapdragon VR 820. It is a self-contained, head mounted, VR system that offers a complete freedom of movement* because there’s no cable connecting it to a computer (*6-degrees of movement = 3 axis rotation and 3 axis translation).
Over the past few years, many of us have come to know Huawei as a manufacturer of smartphones, and we probably wouldn’t associate them with tablets. However during IFA 2016, the company decided to surprise us all with a brand new tablet in the form of the Huawei MediaPad M3.
Have you ever sat on a plane and be annoyed by the sound of the engine, babies crying, people chattering away? This is where the beauty of noise cancelling headphones comes in, and if you are after such a pair, Sony might have something for you. Announced at IFA 2016, Sony has taken the wraps off the MDR-1000X noise cancelling wireless headphones.
According to an earlier leaked photo, it seems like Sony has a new phone in the works, and sure enough the company has made it official. Dubbed the Sony Xperia XZ, this is one of two new smartphones that Sony has debuted at IFA 2016, and if you’re after a smartphone with a great camera, this could be it.
Phones these days tend to be pretty big because apparently that’s the demand these days. Pretty much any decent fitness tracker you buy these days has the ability to track stats such as distance, speed, calories, or in some cases even your location if there is GPS built into it. Some trackers even come with a heart rate monitor so you can check your heart rate while you are exercising.
Sometimes spending close to a thousand bucks on a smartphone can be a rather painful experience, especially if you’re the type that likes to switch it up every now and then, meaning that you could be out several thousand a year if you change phones enough times. If you’d rather not drop that kind of cash, there are plenty of options that you can consider.
Ideally a security camera would be watched around the clock to prevent anything untoward from happening. However since that would be impossible, unless you hire a guard, sometimes reviewing them after an incident has happened is the only option. Now depending on your system or what kind of plan you have, you may or may not have long to access the footage.
So we know that Sony will be hosting a press conference at IFA tomorrow. Given that Sony creates a multitude of products ranging from TVs, to speakers, to headphones, to cameras, to smartphones, it’s hard to say what will be announced. However if these leaked renders are anything to go on, we can expect a couple of mobile announcements from the company.
One of the rumored features we have been hearing about for the GoPro HERO5 is voice control, in which users will be able to activate the camera and have it perform certain tasks through the power of your voice. GoPro has yet to make the HERO5 official, but it looks like as far as action cameras are concerned, Garmin has beaten GoPro to the punch.

Not all hybrid devices are created equal. For example a lot of hybrids/convertibles we’ve seen are usually laptops with touchscreen displays that can spin around and turn into some kind of tablet. The only downside to such a design is that the bulk from the keyboard and innards of the laptop make for a rather hefty and bulky tablet.
