Apple Reportedly Pushing LG To Be Its OLED Supplier For 2018
Like many companies, Apple tends to diversify who they work with and who supplies to them. After all being dependent on just one supplier is probably not a good idea since should anything go wrong or if things just aren’t up to standard, it could impact the delay of product launches, which is why we’re hearing that Apple is pushing LG to become one of its OLED suppliers.

LG G6 Fails To Turn Things Around For LG
LG has been making good flagship smartphones for the past couple of years but they don’t appear to be capturing customers’ attention, or their wallets, at least not as much as LG would have hoped. The LG G6 was launched earlier this year and while it’s a bona fide flagship smartphone, it hasn’t done much to turn things around for LG’s mobile division.

A Potential Fix For The Nexus 5X Bootloop Has Been Found
The bootloop issues plaguing Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P owners are pretty infamous to the point where last year LG reportedly refunded customers who tried to send their devices in for a repair. However the good news is that if you are still holding onto your Nexus 5X, the folks at XDA might have found a fix.

LG Investing In OLED Production Significantly To Win iPhone Orders
LG has long supplied display panels for the iPhone but now that Apple is believed to be shifting to OLED panels with the iPhone 8, LG won’t be able to meet its demand for the panels. Samsung has a near monopoly in the small to medium-sized OLED panel market as it currently accounts for over 90 percent of the world’s total OLED supply. Apple will obviously have to source the […]

Apple Reportedly Looking To Develop Their Own OLED Technology
One of the popular rumors of this year’s iPhone is that Apple could finally be turning to the use of OLEDs for its iPhone, something that the competition has been doing for a while now, and will finally see Apple move away from LCD. Another rumor related to this one is that Samsung could be one of Apple’s suppliers, which makes sense given that Samsung is one of the companies […]

LG Q8 Is A Smaller, Waterproof Version Of The LG V20
Given that phones these days vary more in features and design rather than specs, sometimes it’s not surprising to see companies “recycle” certain hardware specs for newer devices. A good example would be the recently announced LG Q8 which based on its specs, sounds like it is essentially a smaller, waterproof version of the LG V20.

LG & Joseph Gordon-Levitt Team Up For LG V30 Marketing Campaign
While many of us might be familiar with Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s profession as an actor, he also does other work, such as running a production company called HitRecord. In fact the company has actually managed to land some pretty big name clients, such as LG in which they did marketing campaigns for the LG V10 and V20 in recent years.

LG G4 Android 7.0 Update Released For Some Models
LG confirmed back in March this year that it was going to release the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the LG G4. The company did say at that time that the update is not going to arrive before the second half of this year. Google released Android 7.0 Nougat almost a full year ago and the LG G4 is one of the many handsets that have still not been updated. […]

LG To Deploy Its Guide Robots At South Korea’s Incheon Airport
Landing in a new country at a new airport can be an intimidating experience, especially if it is in a country who speaks a different language than back home. However for the most part, most airports are pretty well equipped to handle tourists and visitors with clear signages in multiple languages.

LG Will Reportedly Be The 2018’s iPhone Battery Supplier
Apple’s 2017 iPhones have yet to be officially announced, but it looks like rumors about 2018’s models are already making their way out of the woodwork. The handset is rumored to pack the latest hardware under its hood, and thanks to a recent benchmark sighting, it seems that some of the rumors have been confirmed, such as the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and 4GB of RAM.

Alleged LG V30 Renders Leaked
The LG V30 is expected to be the company’s next flagship smartphone for 2017. So far LG has released V-series smartphones over the past few years, and they have been mostly well-received, so it was probably a safe bet to assume that the LG V30 would be released this year as well.
