Raytheon improves anti-jam GPS system

Raytheon will be improving its GAS-1 jam-resistant Global Positioning System (GPS)-antenna technology that is currently in use by the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy, offering a system that is capable of recognizing different sources of electrical interference and tweaking the way it receives satellite signals in order to allow navigation equipment to function normally and accurately. This would translate to a more efficient military, thanks to Raytheon’s anti-jam system that tracks jammers and generate nulls faster than its competitors. .
