PSP GPS receiver finally useful...

…only if you’re playing golf in Japan, that is. At least, that’s what the scenario looks like at the moment. Sony has just unveiled its virtual golf caddy application known as Minna No Golf Jo (Everybody’s Golf Course) to Japanese golf fans, providing those who walk the greens precise distance readings to the pin as well as different hazards available across 31 golf courses located east of Tokyo. There are plans to include other courses around the country in the near future. If you’re in Japan, you can pick a bundle up (PSP GPS receiver and software) for $82, while the software alone retails for $50. Will this make you a Tiger Woods? Hardly, but it looks set to lift the enjoyment of your game by another notch.
