Intellitrac has launched its X1 waterproof GPS tracking system that comes with a dozen channels, featuring real-time GPS/GSM tracking in addition to journey logging, geofencing control and remote controlling. Shrugging off rain and other elements, the X1 is also equipped with a backup battery that can go the distance – for over three days in fact, assuming connection to the car battery is interrupted. Heck, it doesn’t only let you know where the vehicle is, the X1 includes voice wiretapping into conversations within the vehicle, a tow alarm, and a mileage report to catch Pinocchios in your company. Measuring a discreet 90mm × 66mm x 30mm and weighing 130 grams, the X1 will only hit the US market when a distributor picks it up.
