Asus M536 PDA Phone

Asus has taken CeBIT 2008 to be the platform to introduce its new GPS-enabled PDA phone known as the M536. This handset features a full QWERTY keyboard and will succeed the Asus M530W, bringing the following features to the table :-

  • A-GPS compatible SiRF III GPS receiver
  • 2.4? TFT LCD
  • TI Omap 2430 processor
  • Triband GSM, GPRS, EDGE, dual band 3G and HSDPA with 3.6Mbps
  • 256MB ROM
  • 128MB RAM
  • 802.11b/g WiFi connectivity
  • Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR
  • 3.2 megapixel digital camera
  • VGA camera (0.3MP) in front for video conference
  • Biometric reader
  • microSDHC memory card slot
  • Lithium-Ion of 1200 mAh Li-Ion battery
  • Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional

Sounds as though it has everything including the kitchen sink. The Asus M536 will be available this July in the region of 550€.
