Audio-Technica’s latest AT-LP60-USB LP-to-Digital Turntable System enables users to convert all recorded music on their vinyl collections to something which lasts much longer and does not degrade over time in the form of digital media files. This turntable will be accompanied by a phono cartridge, a USB cable, software compatible with Windows and Mac OS X platforms, an integrated phono preamp and the ability to choose between 33.33 and 45RPM playback speeds. You can opt to integrate this turntable into existing and modern home audio systems courtesy of its RCA outputs alongside an included RCA-to-3.5mm adapter. The AT-LP60-USB will ship next month for $229, although if you can’t wait and don’t mind a similar model albeit sans USB port and software package, it is readily available for $149.
