Google Alarm plug-in for browsers - hit or miss?

Those who have installed the browser plug-in which lets you hear a loud, buzzing noise whenever you visit a website that relays information to Google, how do you find the experience so far? While it might be intuitive for Google to keep track of Web activity of users who search for things at the search engine giant’s site, unassuming Web users might also have their browsing behavior tracked on other sites as well. This has caused Jamie Wilkinson, a technology entrepreneur unaffiliated with Google, to develop the ‘Google Alarm’ plug-in so that there will not be any confusion arising from the situation where privacy issues on the internet are concerned.
