Many iPad owners who weren’t in touch with the news might have been surprised that the iPad might not be charging on their older Apple computers or PCs, mainly due to the power demands of Apple’s iPad. While some manufacturers have issued updates in order to address this issue, it’s still something that many folks have yet to solve, and if you want a cheap and simple solution, the folks over at Xmultiple Technlogies Inc. seem to have the solution in the form of the iXP1-500 adapter. It’s basically a USB dongle with an additional female USB port that manages to work some magic to get enough power to your iPad in order to get it charging. At $4.95, sounds like a pretty cheap solution.
