Sanyo Xacti VPC-CA102, a fully waterproof camcorder

Is underwater sports one of your favorite hobbies? Snorkeling or diving, you might want to bring the Sanyo Xacti VPC-CA102 with you since it is sealed tightly enough for you to record all your underwater adventures in full HD glory, or snap 14-megapixel stills – as long as you do not go deeper than 10 feet below sea level. Carrying a new lens which has a shorter range at just 5x, it compensates that by capturing at a wider 38mm equivalent angle. Not only that, it retains its H.264 recording format, and will play nice with a Mac machine without missing a beat. Do you fear a lack of storage? Fret not, as the VPC-CA102 comes with an SDXC memory card slot that ought to be good for up to 64GB of storage – that is roughly the equivalent of eight hours of full HD video. Too bad its internal battery can only go on for around an hour before it requires a recharge. Expect to fork out $350 for the Sanyo Xacti VPC-CA102 when it hits the market later this month.
