We recently brought the Apple Peel accessory to your attention, which was a nifty little device that enabled Apple’s iPod touch to support cellular calls and texts. Now it looks like the Apple Peel has some competition in the form of the tPhone, which does a similar job. The concept is pretty much the same, but the tPhone sports a hard plastic case instead of a rubber coating. The tPhone protects your iPod touch, offers a SIM card slot, audio jack, miniUSB port, a 1,200mAh battery and will require a jailbroken iPod touch. Will such accessories be a continuing trend?
