TomTom has just rolled out the TomTom HD Traffic 4.0 which is capable of reporting 200% more traffic jams during rush hour, while going about its duty of delivering information to the TomTom device just a couple of minutes after a problem is reported on the roads. Existing TomTom users will not need to fork out any additional cost, as TomTom says that current HD Traffic customers will be able to experience the benefits immediately, without the need for any software upgrade. Now how about that for customer service? It should push up the satisfaction rating by a notch, and you have yet another compelling reason to purchase a TomTom if you live in the UK.
