600,000 Galaxy Tabs Sold Since Launch, On Track For 1M Units This Year

With Samsung’s Galaxy Tab being one of the most prominent iPad competitors, it’s no surprise to hear that demand for it is high and Samsung has confirmed that demand for the Android tablet is currently outpacing supply and the company is on track to meet this year’s sales target. The Galaxy Tab went on sale in mid-October and has since surpassed sales of more than 600,000 units globally and is expected to breach the 1 million mark by the end of the year. Performance back in Korea isn’t too bad either as Samsung has managed to sell about 30,000 units since its November 14th launch.
