We’ve seen several energy-gathering device designs that make use of the kinetic energy generated when you’re cycling, but most of them are designed as an add-on feature, while the Encycle seems to be designed with the bike in mind as well. You’ll be able to dock your iPhone on the handlebar and keep it juiced while you’re cycling. An app is also provided to adjust the settings of the generator, depending on the road you’re riding on, not to mention it also provides a built-in speedometer. Sounds like a nice replacement to the bike that we use everyday.
