Google +1 Screenshot Leaked?

We previously heard whispers about an upcoming social network product from Google, rumored to be called Emerald Sea or Google +1. Now a screenshot of some confidential things that Google is working on has surfaced, showing us what Google +1 might look like. From the screenshot, we see a toolbar at the top of the page, showing a Share button, a place for a Google account icon, Google username and also a numerical count. The page is labeled confidential, but the person who leaked it obviously didn’t get the memo. It’s also worth noting that there is a “Loop” link on the upper left of the page, something that jives with earlier rumors that Google +1 would use “loops”, which seems to be a fancy name for groups. When reached for a comment, Google responded in the expected method, not denying anything but not confirming anything either. It reads:

“We’re always experimenting with new ways to improve our products, and we have already confirmed that we are focused on incorporating social elements across Google. But we have nothing new to announce at this time.”
