The CDMA iPhone rumors just refuse to die off and now reports are in that Apple is rather optimistic for 2011. The company is reportedly planning to ship five to six million CDMA iPhones between January and March, and has also increased the production of regular iPhones from thirteen million to fifteen million, bumping the total possible shipments to twenty-one million. It’s also been said that the CDMA version won’t be exclusive to Verizon as it could be shipping to the US and also Asia Pacific, with carriers such as China Telecom, KDDI Au, and SK Telecom all possible destinations. Foxconn is said to be producing both editions of the phone, and Pegatron will also be pitching in on the CDMA front.
