CHOBICAM1

Ever feel like your DSLR camera is much too heavy for you to lug around everywhere you go? That’s probably because you’re carrying a regular sized on. Say hello to the CHOBICAM1 – the new super-tiny camera from Japan Trust Technology (JTT). This ulti-small camera is barely the size of an eraser and only weighs 12g!  It’s so tiny you can easily put it into your pocket without any trouble. In addition to being small and cute (it’s designed in the shape of a DSLR), the CHOBICAM1 can shoot both pictures and video. Although not at a high resolution, but if you need it for some quick spy shots, it certainly fits the bill. The pictures shot in 1,600 x 1,200 resolution while the videos are recorded at 640 x 480 resolution. Not too bad for a camera that is only 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.6 cm in volume. It comes with a slot for microSD/SDHC cards (32GB max) and connects to your PC via a USB cable to charge and to transfer its images out. JTT also plans to sell additional accessories such as lenses for the CHOBICAM1. The CHOBICAM1 goes on sale in Japan today, so you’ll probably need to look for an importer if you want to own one of these cute cameras. Now what sort of uses can you think of for a camera this small?
