[CES 2011] Aside from tablets, SSDs are going to be important this year too and Micron is busy showing off its RealSSD C400 drives at CES. These drives are based on the 25nm NAND flash die-based drive and offer performance that is nearly 30 percent faster than previous SSD drives. The RealSSD C400 will be available in 1.8-inch and 2.5-inch sizes and offer capacity ranging from 64GB to 512GB. Mass production of these drives are expected to begin in early February 2011 and they will be sold as part of the Crucial drive family in the first quarter of 2011.
