LG has just introduced the first Cinema 3D TV range in South Korea that will offer flicker free 3D images – not only that, your eyes will also appreciate a more comfortable pair of glasses, a brighter image as well as a wider viewing angle in the comfort of your living room. Thanks to LG’s Film Patterned Retarder (FPR) technology that will optimize the separation of images for the left and right eye, these separated images will then be matched with Cinema 3D glasses which were specially designed to receive each image, hence resulting in an outstandingly smooth 3D picture. This will go some way in doing away with that dizzy feeling as well as eye fatigue which are common complaints of those who have viewed 3D TV content in the past. It is interesting to note that the new comfortable and inexpensive 3D glasses are pretty light as well, weighing just 16 grams and since there are no electrical parts within, you can be sure that they are free of electromagnetic waves – best of all is, there is no need to juice them up the night before.
